Some more info for you on Hormone Imbalance.....
One of the leading causes of Hormone Imbalance is Oestrogen Dominance...

Oestrogen Dominance

The total amount of Oestrogen in your body is determined by:-

  • How much you make yourself (technically, Oestrogen is made in the Ovaries, in the Adrenal Glands and also in your fat tissues.
  • How much comes from the outside (from hormones in animal products, chemicals in cosmetics etc—known as exogenous Oestrogen)
  • How well your body metabolises and excretes Oestrogen

When Oestrogen levels are too high, as we've mentioned above, it's often referred to as "Oestrogen Dominance", a condition associated with most PMS symptoms. It can also be associated with Breast and endometrial Cancer, Uterine fibroids, and Endometriosis.

Oestrogen Dominance is NOT the only cause of Hormone Imbalance but it's quite common. It may or may not be coupled with Low Progesterone, an underactive Thyroid, High or Low Cortisol levels and Nutrient deficiencies in general.
